Amarillo is full of little surprises everywhere I turn. I found out about the First Friday Art Walk at Sunset Galleries and curiosity got the best of me. Out of sheer ignorance I imagined Amarillo to be little more than a cow-town with no major emphasis on the arts.

You are invited to come vote or participate in this Amarillo exclusive body painting competition.

Painters tape, it's tape you put up to keep from getting paint on the ceiling, the baseboards, etc., to keep from getting paint on those areas when you are painting a wall.  It's a life saver for someone who isn't very good at painting.  However, painter's tape can be an art.  This week it is going to be an art honoring our local police officers.

The Amarillo Zoo is taking a ride on the wild side and no I don't mean their animals.  A fun event for adults takes place on July 8th.  It's time to get your art and wine on!   If you are looking for a fun evening of creating art and enjoying some good wine while enjoying the Amarillo Zoo, then mark your calendars. ...
