I'll be the first to admit I am not a fan of microwave popcorn.  I just don't like it.  I'll microwave my own popcorn, a brown lunch bag, and 1/4 c. of kernels cooked for 2 minutes.  However, on Sunday, I decided to pan cook some popcorn.

One great thing about today is that I share a birthday with Julia Child.  I kind of find this an honor.  PBS has been amazing lately remixing some of their old shows.  First, Mr. Rogers, then Bob Ross, now they have mixed the great Julia Childs.

If you are like me you had an Easy-Bake Oven growing up.  I'm pretty sure just about every little girl since 1963 has had an Easy-Bake Oven.  Yes, the designs have changed over the years but one thing remained the same,  the 100-watt light bulb that was required to cook the food.

One of the few reality shows I watch is Top Chef.  I love this show.  I have always enjoyed cooking shows, but this one pits some of the best up and coming chefs against each other to compete for the title Top Chef.  These competitors can get down right mean and nasty with each other, but I guess that is what happens when you throw 13 people or more in a house and a kitchen together.

So just when you thought Charlie Sheen was a joke in himself.  It looks like he's teamed up with Funny or Die for a cooking video, Adonis, Tiger Blood and Warlocks included.
