I am quite fond of the phrase "Never stop learning." I hope people always take whatever opportunity that becomes available to expand their horizons, meet new people, or explore new surroundings. Learning is essential to survival; but, I never considered the fact that my child could teach me a valuable lesson. I was proven wrong this past weekend.

Whether you realize it or not, kids know a whole heck of a lot. Their ability to come up with entertainingly intelligent nuggets of wisdom is incomparable, and we’re here to prove that point even further.

As a mom of six kids I obviously have a wide variety of attitudes and characters.  I can handle them all, except the defeated child.  I am sure most parents of large families have at least one, and I of course had to be normal.

So apparently when YouTube star Kid President isn't busy giving us pep talks or taking over the White House he's busy doing one of the coolest things imaginable...meeting actual president Barack Obama.

Here I am facing a cheesy little problem in my life.  My son is on a dinosaur kick right now.  You take a kid to one dinosaur museum and he is into dinosaurs all of a sudden.  Sheesh.  I say that all in jest, but I find myself with a dino problem.

We don't eat out a whole lot, by a whole lot, I mean about once per week.  No matter where we go I always get E. a kids meal.  It seems like the easiest option.

There is one question that plagues me daily… “What’s for dinner?”  While it may sound simple for some, just the idea of meal planning for my family stresses me out.

So over the last few days my son has been talking about the Easter Bunny.  He keeps talking about what the Easter Bunny is gonna bring him.  I am not talking just a basket full of candy, and eggs.  He is expecting the Easter Bunny to bring him an $85 Lego set.  I have no idea where he got the idea that the bunny is the equivalent to Santa.

Pottytraining can be frustrating, not to mention time consuming, cutting into precious minutes a toddler could be spending watching Dora the Explorer, but not anymore!
