Gone Fishin!

Officials have confirmed that a body was found at Lake Meredith National Park on Monday Night.

For the first time since 2002, the floodgates at Ute Lake in Logan, New Mexico have been opened to lower the water level from all the recent rains.

There is no shortage of great ways to celebrate Independence Day in the Texas panhandle.

Father's Day is this Sunday and the panhandle region has so much to offer when it comes to cool things to do as a family.

I love going to watch a great movie.  I like going to the Drive-In every now and then. However, watching a movie in the great outdoors would be great.  Now, you can take your love for movies and your love for the great outdoors and combine them and head out to Lake Meredith.

This summer has been a crazy one.  One filled with the scare of zika virus and even scarier, a flesh eating bacteria.  So has the bacteria invaded Lake Meredith?

With spring here and summer just around the corner, fishing sounds amazing.  Luckily, you won't have to travel far this year.  Lake Meredith is being restocked with fish!

Growing up in the Texas Panhandle you know all about the bodies of water around.  Who doesn't love taking a trip to the lake.  Growing up I remember hearing my parents talk about going to Buffalo Lake.  Well that lake is now gone.  Our kids will now hear us talking about going to Lake Meredith, however, its quite possible that this lake could disappear before it is all said and done.
