When talks first began that the Farrelly Brothers were making a movie based on The Three Stooges, Jim Carrey, Sean Penn and Bencio Del Toro were rumored to be the stars. However that fell by the wayside and a whole new cast was announced, Will Sasso from "Mad TV" as Curly, Sean Hayes from "Will & Grace" as Larry and Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe.

Disney revamped The Lion King and put it in 3D and re-released the movie into theaters for two weeks. However, in those 18 days it made nearly 79 million dollars. So with that said, are they doing this to appeal to an entirely new audience or are they doing it for money. It is a fine line, but I'm guessing it is a money maker for them, and in this world money is everything.

I'll admit I am a weenie when it comes to movies like the Paranormal Activity Franchise. Most horror movies don't scare me, but this franchise freaks me out. I watched the first two movies in the comfort of my own home because I dont' think I could have handled a theater full of people screaming. With that said the trailer for the 3rd installment of Paranormal Activity 3 has been released and it looks like they leave nothing to the imagination.

One of my favorite movies from the 80's is Beetlejuice. Michael Keaton was awesome playing this crazy dead character that caused all sorts of trouble in the world of the dead. Of course, who could forget the crazy dance he caused at the dining table to Day O (the Banana Boat Song), or trying to take Winona Ryder as a bride. Plus, I think this movie was the skinniest Alec Baldwin had ever been. Rumor has it that after 23 years, we may finally see a sequel to the 1988 hit.

I must admit, I was not impressed by the first trailer that was released for the new Footloose movie. It made me cringe because it seemed like the spitting image of the original movie. However, this one is a bit better, but that is just my opinion. I'm still not looking forward to the remake, but I will grin and bear it and probably go see it. The idea of turning classic board game Battleship into a feature-length movie still doesn’t make much sense, but we’ll admit that we’re a little less skeptical after watching the first official trailer for the movie, released Wednesday by Yahoo!

Though some of the footage underwhelms (why does it always have to be about aliens? and why did they make Taylor Kitsch shave his hair off?!), the film still looks like it will be a visual showcase, with epic effects and battle sequences — not to mention cutesy yellow missiles that look like the iconic peg pieces from the Hasbro game.
