Oh Punxsutawney Phil, I know you have one job.  That job is to pop out of your burrow on February 2nd, each year and let the world know what to expect with the weather.  However, I'm not a fan of your prediction this year.

I will admit we haven't had much of a winter.  I say that in hopes that we won't have much of a winter.  I can handle cold, but I don't like it.  I don't like it at all.  I don't like driving on ice, I don't like having to get in a freezing car.  I don't like the obscene utility bills when winter rolls around.  I'm a Spring kind of gal. So today is Groundhog Day and luckily it won't repeat itself.  Or I'll let you know in the morning if it does, but I digress, the cute little furry groundhog Punxsutawney Phil came out of his hole this morning and what did he see or not see?

Groundhog day is tomorrow.  We will find out if we have 6 more weeks of Winter to endure or if we will see a early spring.  The celebration goes down in Gobbler's Knob, PA and you can watch it live from the comfort of your own home or office.

Groundhog Day is coming up on Tuesday, February 2nd.  This is the day where a furry little creature called a Groundhog pops out of hole and if he sees his shadow, we will be inundated with 6 more weeks of winter.  Well I decided that I needed to have a talk with said Groundhog, so I wrote him a letter.

Groundhog Day was yesterday and it was over-shadowed by the Super Bowl (no pun intended).  However, the city of Punxsutawney was hopping yesterday, waiting for Phil to pop his head out and tell us if Winter was out and Spring was in.
