That building at I40 and Soncy that used to house the On the Border restaurant has been abandoned and closed for years. It is truly an eye sore. The area has become a place for the homeless to pretty much take over.

I remember when I first heard about this story. Take me back to June of 2019. Yes, June of 2019. That was a much simpler time. That was back when I first had heard about the store Five Below.

Nothing is worse than waking up on the wrong side of the bed. That just starts your day off in the worst way possible. Those are the mornings that drivers on I40 seem to cut you off. You can't handle it. You just want to get to your job Downtown as soon and as with as little drama as possible.

Valentine's is on the way. Have you found your special someone. Hey there is some good news for us here in Texas. If you are single this is not a bad place to live. Texas actually finished second behind just Florida. This is good news.

It was announced a while ago that Amarillo was getting a Walk-Ons here in Amarillo on Soncy. It was supposed to open up this past spring but thanks to Coronavirus it has been delayed.

So the other day I was just driving down Soncy and minding my own business. I had plans to stop by Kohl's then many grab my dog, Chipper, something from PetSmart. When out of my eye I saw this banner.

What's not to love about Friday's, am I right? I mean it is the beginning of a beautiful weekend. You have so much to look forward to, right? Even if you have to work, the weekend just seems better.

This weekend, the Amarillo SPCA and PetSmart National Charities are getting together for National Adoption Weekend.

Again as luck would have it I find out about another Amarillo Restaurant biting the dust on Facebook yesterday.

Over the weekend, the Amarillo Police Department was made aware of several incidents near I-40 and Soncy that later turned out to be a joke. Residents in that area returned to their vehicles to find Post-It notes that said "sorry for the damage...

Talk to almost everyone who lives and works in Amarillo and they will tell you of a close-call story while driving around town.
