One of my favorite store bought cookies in the world is Oreos. I love Oreos. A pile of oreos and a big fat glass of milk are the perfect ending to a long stressful day. If I could eat Oreos everyday with no consequences (you know like gaining 50 pounds) I would. I love to twist off the top, eat the creamy center and dunk the chocolate wafer, that is how I eat my Oreos. Whether you are a twister or a dunker or you do both like me, today is a celebration, the Oreo turns 100 today.
When watching your favorite sitcoms growing up, there was always that one "very special" episode that would show up at least once a year. You know the one that was meant to teach you a lesson. Back in the day when Tim Burton worked at Disney (yes, he actually worked at Disney), he created a short film called Frankenweenie in 1984. That was the film that caused Disney to fire him because they thought he wasted money on a film that was not appropriate for children. Fast forward 18 years later and Tim Burton and Disney have released a trailer for a the full featured animated film Frankenweenie.
I cannot go one day with out some form of Spongebob in my life. When Ethan gets up in the morning part of his morning routine involves Spongebob. He watches Spongebob when he gets dressed and by letting him watch it he gets dressed. We have Spongebob sheets, pillows, dolls, DVDs, and even a nightlight. I have seen the Spongebob Squarepants Movie a gazillion times. So for those parents who are inundated with Spongebob on a daily basis here is the 411 on the new Spongebob Movie coming to theaters in 2014.
I will admit I get sucked into the Friends re-runs on a daily basis. In fact, I love watching the Friends re-runs on Nick at Nite. They come on at 10pm and are on until Midnight. Instead of watching the news I opt for Friends. When I can't sleep I take a trip down memory lane with those 6 crazy characters that filled my 90's television watching with laughter. I mean who didn't want to move to New York City after watching that show for 10 years.
Well it seems I'm not alone, tons of people catch the re-runs of Friends including Jennifer Aniston.
I guess what they say is true, you are never too old, and in this case you are never too old to fall in love and get married. Dana Jackson, turned 100-years old on February 6, 2012 and married her sweetheart. This is my feel good video of the day for your Friday!

As a society we love our pets, they are like children. Most pet owners love to keep their pets groomed. Since most people don't know how to keep their pets groomed and trimmed they take them to a groomer. Pet owners trust their groomers as they do their vets. That is why this story is so heartbreaking. Groomers at a PetCo in Hawaii cut off a dog's ear then glue it back on to cover up their mistake. This wasn't the first incident of this groomer cutting off a pet's body part.
