Coupon Failure Causes Irate Walmart Shopper to Wave Gun at Employees
As it turns out, the customer is not always right.
As it turns out, the customer is not always right.
Walmart, the world’s largest retail chain, is currently testing a “scan and go” iPhone application that would allow customers to scan items as they shop and pay more quickly and conveniently at a self-checkout counter.
If you’re a Walmart shopper because you’re cost-conscious, it may be time to switch your allegiances — turns out Target is now cheaper, and the pricing gap between the two mega-stores is the widest it’s been in two years.
It never seems to fail — where there’s a twinge of desperation, a nearby Walmart, and just enough faith in a reckless gamble to go over the wall, the derelict sideshow and dumb circus is there.
Apparently, one man from New York does not intend to change that.
I'll admit I laughed at this, I laughed hard. I know it isn't nice to laugh but I just couldn't help it. It is nice to know that in all their splendor and glory models still fall flat on their faces.
I'll admit I do a lot of my grocery shopping at Walmart because it is a bit cheaper. However, I also find myself doing a lot of other shopping as well. I'm I the only one? I walked into Walmart the other day for groceries and walked out with clothes, beauty products, potting soil, a movie and a few other things I just couldn't "live without". Am I the only one who cannot go into Walmart for just groceries? So I want to know

It was a normal trip to the store, nothing strange happened or at least I was oblivious to the situation. I didn't think anything was weird, even as I exited the building to see a police car parked by the door. I just thought someone caught a shoplifter. Yes they did, but it was more serious than that.
Apparently Walmart seems to be the happening place when it comes to crime. First, the pepper-spray incident on Black Friday, then a woman gets caught cooking meth in a Tulsa Walmart, now a woman in Greenville, South Carolina gets stabbed in the store and it stays open for shoppers.
If we had a stupid criminal of the day post, Elizabeth Halfmoon would have the honor today. She was in a Walmart in Tulsa mixing meth. Apparenlty, she was to broke to make the meth at home so she just started mixing it in the store. So in her carelessness she put countless lives in danger.
In the midst of retailers looking to start traditional Black Friday festivities at the first possible moment the Friday after Thanksgiving, Walmart is expected to announce that it will do them one better. The company has decided to open at 10 p.m. the night of Thanksgiving, so its customers can get an “early” start on shopping.
