Amarillo Police Department and the BBB Team Up for Secure You ID Day

If you have had your identity stolen you know the havoc it wreaks on your life and you know how difficult it is to get your credit cleaned up.  That's why the Amarillo Police Department and the Better Business Bureau are teaming up for Secure your ID day.

We all have a ton of documents that come into our life.  A lot of times that personal information winds up in the trash, but that is where thieves find your personal information.  If you don't shred that information before you throw it away then you are just giving them a free for all to your info.

That's why the Amarillo Police Department and the Better Business Bureau have teamed up to help you destroy those personal documents.

WHAT: Secure Your ID Day

WHEN: Saturday, April 16th,  9am-2pm

WHERE: Med Center at 3501 Soncy - Parking Lot

COST: Free

Bring your documents in paper bags or boxes and they will be shredded on site by DSS, a certified secured document shredding and storage service.

In the case of inclement weather they will be located in under the green awning near the northwest corner of the building.
