American Idol Winner, Phillip Phillips, Surgey Postponed Due To High Fever

Phillip Phillips shocked America when he won American Idol. The Super talented singer has now been plagued with a kidney issue that was scheduled for surgery today. Well, the surgery has been postponed.

Phillips has a congenital kidney issue in which his kidneys produce stones so large that they can not pass on their own, requiring surgery. He has had eight surgeries for this very problem.

During his time on American Idol, Phillips was in regular and constant pain due to stints that were inserted to help with this kidney issue.

Due to a sinus infection that resulted in a high fever, his surgery has been rescheduled for next week.
