Reports surfaced that Beyoncé may be coming to the Las Vegas strip for a residency in 2020.

The 38-year old's representative confirmed to Variety that the report is "absolutely not true." The rumor began after a report from Love B. Scott cited that the singer was "preparing to embark on a Las Vegas residency." The report claimed that fans could have expected the announcement of the residency in "first half of the year."

The report also stated that she would have been the highest-paid entertainer on the Vegas strip. Recently, musicians have been creating their own residencies in Sin City including Shania Twain, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, among others.

This would not have been Bey's first time performing for an intimate Las Vegas audience, the superstar released a special concert DVD, I Am… Yours: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas, back in 2009. The concert featured a smaller crowd along with an all-female backing band.

Fans were skeptical at the news that Beyoncé will not be touring, rather performing at the same venue nightly. Other people did agree that performing in the same city nightly could be beneficial to her family which includes her three children, 7-year-old Blue Ivy and 2-year-old twins, Sir and Rumi.
