Bobbi Kristina Gets a Tattoo in Honor of Mom Whitney Houston’s Birthday
Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of fallen songbird Whitney Houston, paid tribute to her late mom on what would have been the singer’s 49th birthday. Brown and Houston’s unofficially adopted son (and Brown’s own fiancee) Nick Gordon got matching tattoos in honor of Nippy.
Brown tweeted a photo of her and Gordon’s inner wrists, each of which were inscribed with script initials “WH,” surrounded by outlines of birds. Two tiny crosses start and finish the piece. Brown previously announced that she and Gordon were going to get inked, writing, “On the way with MYbooboo @nickdgordon heading2 #Inksomnia for our TATTSSS !this is for you mommy (: we love you, happybirthday OurladyXxo.”
With the photo of the completed art, Brown tweeted, “Tat tat tatted YURP.. now your truly ALWAYS with us mommy (: we love you @nickdgordon always&forever{<3}.” It’s widely understood that Brown was pretty much Houston’s world, so we imagine the ‘I Will Always Love You’ singer is smiling down at her little girl.
Brown didn’t just announce her newly inked status to the world. She also promoted her family’s upcoming reality show. In a slightly misspelled post, the 19-year-old wrote:
You all will get2see! No worries we’ll show you & so will our #Realityshow ! #TheHoustonChronicals !make sure you look out for it nxtyr!

The reality series isn’t the budding starlet’s first foray into television. She’s also slated to appear in Houston family friend Tyler Perry’s TBS sitcom, ‘For Better or for Worse,’ despite earlier rumors of her pulling out of the project. The news of the reality show may disappoint her father, Bobby Brown, who reportedly wanted Bobbi Kristina to appear in his own series.
Brown has faced many trials and tribulations even before the tragic passing of her beloved mother in February, and her problems seemed to snowball — or at least become much more public — following Houston’s death. While it may make for a heartbreaking reality, chances are it will also make for great reality TV.
