Before becoming Wonder Woman, Gadot taught gymnastics and calisthenics as a combat instructor for the Israeli Defense Forces; Golden Girls star Bea Arthur became one of the first to join the Women's Reserve amid her time as a Marine; and even Girls alum Adam Driver was inspired to enlist following the September 11 attacks.
