Act Fast! Limited Spots for Kids Day Out in Amarillo This October.
One of the biggest hurdles of the school year is figuring out what to do on those weird off days that the kids get. Usually, parents don't get those days off and are probably trying to save up as much PTO as possible for the upcoming holiday season. Amarillo Parks and Recreation has the answer for childcare on October 11 and October 14. It's a big Kids Day Out in Amarillo, Texas.
Where To Find Childcare In Amarillo On October 11 and 14
Amarillo Parks and Recreation recently put out an announcement that they are having a Kids Day Out on October 11 and 14. It's an easy way for parents to get childcare for their kids, and not break the bank. Plus, many activities are planned to keep the kids busy while their parents are working.
The event is going to be held at the Warford Activity Center. The sign-up page has spaces available for kids aged 5 through 14. There's a full-day option and a half-day option to fit your schedule. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided as well. The best part is the cost. It's $20 for the full day. Half-days are $15. That's not bad considering some of the alternatives.
They also mention that swimming is a possible activity, so you'll need to pack a swimsuit and a towel.
