We can all agree that thieves are terrible. For those of us who have ever had a car broken into or had something stolen from us, it hurts. It hurts even more when it affects all of Amarillo, Texas. Thieves recently made off with some goods, causing a certain construction project to be delayed.

Amarillo Boulevard, BNSF Railroad Bridge Project Victim Of Thieves

News recently came out that thieves had attacked the Amarillo Blvd, BNSF Railroad bridge construction project. According to reports, the thieves made off with some much-needed construction materials. Nobody likes having to deal with construction, but that's no reason to target a work site.

There aren't many details regarding what exactly was stolen. I'm sure that if you have any details, authorities would love to hear from you. This brazen act of thievery has a wide-reaching impact. All of us will be affected.

Now For The Bad News; The Project Has Been Delayed

If there's one word we don't want to hear when it comes to construction, it's delayed. Unfortunately, these thieves have not only made off with construction materials but they've officially caused the project to be delayed. The amount of time the project is delayed is insane.

According to reports, TxDOT is saying that the project will be delayed by three months. That's three more months of having to deal with getting through or around a work zone. This single act of thievery has now set us all back, and it's infuriating. I hope they get information on who is responsible and that the project can get underway and finished sooner rather than later. Theft is awful no matter the situation, but this one costs us all.

Amarillo Landmarks: Negative Yelp Reviews

Yelp can be a strange and angry place. That's what I found out recently when I decided to sort the reviews by "lowest rating" first.

I was okay with the people upset over bad service and what not. But I came across a few reviews that, for lack of a better word, left me speechless in their scathing negative reviews on some of Amarillo's most iconic places. Prepare your self for plenty of head shaking and "I dunno" shrugs.
