‘DWTS’ Karina Smirnoff Calls Off Engagement With Tiger’s Pitcher Brad Penny[Photos]

It hasn't even been a month since Karina Smirnoff and her dance partner, JR Martinez, won the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy on Dancing With The Stars. But now the word is that she has called off her engagement with Tigers Pitcher Brad Penny.

During this past season of DWTS, Smirnoff said that she would be postponing the wedding plans so she could focus all her energy on the dance reality show. Now it has been revealed that the wedding is not only postponed, but completely called off. E! reports that a source close to Smirnoff claims that her and Penny are just two different people.

This isn't the first time Smirnoff has been a 'runaway bride.' A few years back she was engaged to fellow dance pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but things didn't work out for them.
