Dying 2-Year-Old Will Be Best Man in Parents’ Wedding
The tears that will be shed at an upcoming wedding will not only be ones of joy.
A Jeannette, Pennsylvania couple tying the knot on Saturday will have their dying two-year-old son serve as best man.
Christine Swidorsky and Sean Stevenson decided to move their wedding date up so their son, Logan, who only has weeks to live, can be a part of the big day.
Logan was born with a rare disorder called Fanconi Anemia, which led to cancer. In addition, he has leukemia and carcinoma after a tumor developed on his kidney.
The bride says her little boy is one of a kind, noting, "I've learned so much from Logan. He's made me a better person. He's just an angel from heaven and I'm going to miss him." Thankfully the family will have one last special event together.
