Turn To Amarillo Festival 2024
On the TurnToTexas website, the question is asked where do we turn for help? It's a question many of us have asked at one point in our life. Things get hard, and coping with the difficulty of life at times can be tough to do alone. Unfortunately, finding someone to help can be just as challenging.
The Turn To Amarillo Festival is a way to make it less challenging to know who you can turn to. The festival is designed to give you the resources you need so the next time you're wondering where to turn, you'll have the answer.
A Festival Focused On Stress Reduction, Mental Health, And Personal Wellness
The focus is going to be on local mental health care and substance abuse prevention providers, organizations, and non-profits. It's a chance for you to know what resources and organizations are available the next time you're wondering who to turn to. There will also be a lot of hands-on activities.
There will be activities focused on gardening, and meditation, and there will even be games you can participate in all while getting resources and information you need about local organizations that are here to help.
The event is free and will be on May 18, 2024, from 1 PM to 4 PM. It will be held at the First Bank Southwest Center on the Amarillo College Campus.
