I love movies form the 80's my favorites just happen to be directed by John Hughes, however a few from the 80's that weren't a Hughes movie are my favorites as well.  One of those choices just happen to be the Ghostbuster's franchise.  I loved both movies as well as the cartoon.  There is just something about Peter Venkman and Slimer.  So when I started hearing rumors about a Ghostbusters 3 I must admit I got really excited.  At the time they were just rumors but now it seems that it could actually be happening because a script is finished.

Reitman calls it "a very good script," one that's "good enough to do, to take the risk of doing again." (Also: "Nothing you've read on the Internet is accurate." Besides this, right now, of course.) So, basically, it's still up to Murray, who has not yet read the latest edition of the screenplay, which, one assumes, is still credited to Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.

Hopefully Bill Murray will give in because I would love to see the Ghostbuster's back on the big screen.  Hmmmm....I wonder what rap artist will redo the theme song?
