Houston School Mentor Pays off Negative School Lunch Balances So Kids Can Have A Good Lunch

Since a story in Utah broke about the school throwing away students lunches to make a point to the parents about past due lunch accounts was brought to light, people are keeping an eye out on the whole school lunch debacle.  It seems that a similar thing was happening in Houston.  Students who had past due lunch accounts were only given cold cheese sandwiches for lunch.  A school mentor by the name of Kenny Thompson wasn't having any of that and decided to step up and do something about it.

I don't know about you but I love stories like this, it just warms my heart and makes me realize that there is still good in the world.
