Get ready America, the nation's Shock Jock is coming to your favorite talent show.  Piers Morgan recently announced that he would be leaving America's Got Talent, after taking over Larry King's show on CNN.  Well it looks like they found an over-the-top judge to take his place.  Howard Stern is the new judge of America's Got Talent.

According to a tweet from @sternshow, "It's offical - Howard just signed on the dotted line - he is now the newest judge on America's Got Talent!"

MTV.com quoted Howard as saying:

"I'm going to be Piers [Morgan] on steroids," Stern promised, in reference to former lead judge Piers Morgan. "It's going to be a no-nonsense judge ... I'm going to go there as a serious judge ... It's gonna be something else ... I am very excited."

"This nonsense of Howie and Sharon putting through less than talented people has got to stop," Stern thundered. "Under my administration there will be no Frank Sinatra impersonators winning for the year. If people think I'm the crazy man, I am not. I am the voice of reason," he said, railing against some of the acts that have gotten through in the past that he would not abide by. "Goofy acts are not going through."

I have no doubt that this was a great move by the producers because people will tune in just to see what Howard is going to say.  However, they may want to have their censors ready because you never know what is going to come out of this guy's mouth.

I bet he could give Simon Cowell a run for his money.
