It’s National Vanilla Ice Cream Day

Most of us hate the heat, but love the benefits. There are two "national celebration" days for ice cream and they' re not a full week apart. July 23, is an ice cream flavor "national celebration" for vanilla.

If asked, I woud say vanilla is my favorite flavor of ice cream. Truly, it's the beginning of all flavors. Do you like chocolate? Start with vanilla and pour chocolate syrup on it. Like strawberry? Get some vanilla and throw some strawberries in. Is there really anything better than homemade vanilla ice cream?

Summer tastes like vanilla and chlorine to me. The hotter it gets, the more time I get to spend by the pool..eating ice cream, Vanilla ice cream!
