It’s Time to Have Fun with the Family at St. Mary’s Carnival This Saturday

One of the fun family friendly events that happens in the Fall is the famous St. Mary's Carnival.    The St. Mary's Cathedral School Carnival has become a tradition in Amarillo and if you haven't been, dress the kids in their costumes and make plans to come out and celebrate this Saturday. 

The St. Mary's Carnival has been happening for over a century and it's a fun time full of games, a costume contest, and food!  Lot's and lots of great food.

WHAT: St. Mary's Cathedral Fall Carnival

WHERE: St. Mary's Cathedral School - 1200 S. Washington

WHEN: Saturday, October 14th, 12n-7pm

COST: Admission is free, Game tickets $1 per ticket

If you are looking for a fun, family outing, then make sure you make time to head out to St. Mary's and let the family enjoy all the fun games, rides and bouncers that will be set up.

Plus, bring them in their cute costumes and let them compete in the costume contest that starts at 1:30pm.

Let's talk about the food.  St. Mary's Carnival has some of the best cuisine in Amarillo. The Fall Carnival is well known for it's Mexican Cafe.  So tempt your taste buds and make plans to have lunch or dinner here on Saturday and indulge in their famous Mexican food.

If Mexican food isn't your thing, they will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers as well.

Plus, purchase some sweet treats in their Sweet Shop.  These folks know how to bake and you will find it hard to choose just one sweet treat.

One of the big things about the carnival is you have the opportunity to win a $20,000 Visa Gift card and other great prizes ranging from $75-$300. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $25 each at United Supermarkets or at the school. Tickets will be available for purchase at the carnival as well.
