Amarillo’s Must-Try Asian Food Favorites

One of my favorite cuisines to indulge in is Chinese food. When I moved to Amarillo, it was one of the first things I looked for. However, I ended up surprised by what I found...which was no "traditional" Chinese restaurants.

It was something that confused me. How could an entire city not have just Chinese cuisine? I noticed a lot of it was Thai, or some sort of fusion. I had to kind of recalibrate my thinking to find something I'd be into.

I immediately started to look at the menus of all the different Asian cuisine restaurants in Amarillo, and I found some of my favorites on a few of the menus, but overall? It was very different. I was a bit distraught, like, where was I going to get some of these traditional Chinese dishes I loved so much? Who's got my egg foo young?

So, unable to find all my favorites, I decided it was time for me to look for some new favorites. How was I going to do this, though? That's when I started to read the reviews on Yelp and other places. I figured if it was good for Amarillo, it was going to be good for me.

It certainly didn't disappoint, as ultimately I was able to find restaurants that were close enough to what I was used to. Furthermore, I even found a few new favorite menu items I had never tried before.

If you're an Asian food lover like I am, take a look at the top ones in Amarillo. I don't see any here that would disappoint.
