If you are a beer aficionado, then you know what good beer tastes like.  Have you ever considered becoming the creator of your own beer?  What about becoming your own brewer?  Brewing your own beer isn’t as easy as it sounds. But you can learn the art at an interactive Amarillo event.

There is a club in Amarillo whose mission is to bring homebrewing to enthusiasts. Each year, they celebrate Learn to Homebrew Day with special classes that teach how to brew beer.

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, join the Amarillo High Plains Drafters and learn some homebrewing skills.

What to Expect at Learn to Homebrew Day

Take part in a demonstration of the brewing process and how beer is made. Plus, dive into two American Homebrewers Association recipes, including Let's Lager Down to the Ozdust Ballroom and Ruddles Best Bitter.

Meet the Experts: Danny Henry & Amarillo Brewing Supply

Danny Henry, Amarillo Brewing Supply owner, will be on site sharing about his business and homebrewing. Not only will you have a chance to check out how to brew, but you can also shop and purchase home brewing equipment and ingredients.

Why Attend: Beginners Welcome and Gear On-Site

No need to be shy at this event because they are welcoming all home brewers, from the first-timers to those with a lot of experience. Come learn and ask questions.

The event will take place at Amarillo Brewing Supply, 6650 Canyon Dr. #2, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10:30 am - 2 pm. This is a come-and-go event.
