Get Ready Amarillo to Stuff Your Face with Some Delicious McDonald’s
One of the fast food restaurants Amarillo is graced with is McDonald's. They have some of the best french fries anywhere. However, the food and fries aren't the only reasons our local McDonald's are great.
It's because they give back to the community.
McDonald's Gives Back Day
Mcdonald's is giving back on Tuesday, April 30th. This is the day you tell your kids they can have McDonald's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On Tuesday, April 30th, a portion of sales from McDonald's in Amarillo, Canyon, Dumas, Dalhart, and Borger will go to a local non-profit in our area.
100 Club of the Texas Panhandle
100 Club of the Texas Panhandle assists families of peace officers and firefighters killed or injured in the line of duty.
Our first responders keep our cities and communities safe. When something tragic happens, the 100 Club is there to help those who place their lives on the line for our community every day. The great thing about the 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle is every dollar raised stays in our area to help our first responders. That's not the only thing the 100 Club does, they also help provide law enforcement and firefighters with equipment that will help them do their jobs better or help keep them safe. A lot of time, this donated equipment is a necessity that isn't in the budget for our heroes.
Here's your chance to stuff your face silly on Tuesday, April 30th.
First, plan your day and account for extra time to stop by McDonald's.
Breakfast: Dive into an Egg McMuffin, Big Breakfast, Sausage Biscuit, or a McGriddle (you should try the chicken, it's awesome) or whatever breakfast you love from McDonald's and top it off with a McCafe.
Lunch: Go all out! order a Big Mac or get a big pack of chicken nuggets with your favorite sauces, and french fries. or you can opt for a couple of cheeseburgers or Quarter Pounder.
Dinner: Here's where you can go hog wild! Feed the entire family get all your kids Happy Meals, and go ahead and add those fried pies to your order. This day is all about splurging.
It's possible that you won't be able to eat every single meal at McDonald's on this day, but if you can choose a meal time and get some of your favorite McDonald's food and celebrate a day of giving back.
It's all about supporting our local community and organizations that we love.
