Ooo, Ooo, Ooo, Ooo Really-A New Auto Parts Store Coming Between Amarillo and Canyon
The gap between Amarillo and Canyon is slowly closing, especially on the back road. What was once the way to avoid all the traffic on I-27 is now a hot spot for business and not an easy bypass anymore.
FM 2590 better known as VFW Road is quickly becoming its own community between Amarillo and Canyon, especially near FM 2219. That's a good thing as more and more homes are being built in that area, it makes for more convenience for the homeowners.
The area is growing fast!
As that area continues to grow a need for other businesses to move into the area is a must. Although that area is growing in the home area, it also has a lot of businesses that deal in industrial trades, such as construction, auto repair, and even lawn care. For those reasons, an auto parts store would be a great addition to that area.
According to the Texas Department of Licensing, a new auto parts store is moving into the area. This particular store isn't new to Amarillo they have multiple stores in the Amarillo area.
O'Reilly Auto Parts
A new O'Reilly Auto Parts store is set to open soon on FM 2590. It is unclear whether it will be located near Amarillo, close to Canyon, or in the vicinity of FM 2219. However, what we do know is that a new store will be opening soon on FM 2590. The expected start date is August 2025 with a completion date by December 2025.
We reached out to O'Reilly's for an exact address and a tentative opening date, but they had yet to respond at the time of publishing.
Either way, O'Reilly's is a great addition beneficial for that area of Amarillo and Canyon.
