Parad-Ice Opening Second Location in Amarillo
While many Amarillo businesses have closed their doors lately, several of our local businesses have also expanded. Hud's is adding a third location. Sticky Chikky just opened a second location, and now another Amarillo business is expanding.
Parad-Ice is opening a second store in Amarillo. Parad-Ice opened the doors to its first store at 3429 S. Osage on October 22, 2025.
How Did Parad-Ice Get Its Start?
The Parad-Ice journey began with the Solorio family in the 1950s. The great-grandfather of Juan Carlos Solorio, the owner, started the business in Michoacán, Mexico. Nearly a year after opening Parad-Ice in Amarillo, Solorio is getting ready to open a second location.

What Does Parad-Ice Serve in Amarillo?
If you aren't familiar with the menu offerings, you'll find desserts like ice cream, paletas, fresas con crema, and more. Looking for a savory snack? Try the elote, dorilocos, and more. You can also enjoy aguas frescas and frappes.
Where Is the Second Parad-Ice Location?
Recently, Parad-Ice posted on its Facebook page that it would open a second location and shared this picture.

When Will Parad-Ice Open at Westgate Mall?

We reached out to Solorio to ask when the new location would be open.
We are tentatively planning to be open for Christmas.
The second Parad-Ice location will be next to China Max in the Westgate Mall food court.
