It's that time of year when Christmas movies are a must.  I mean Hallmark tends to run Christmas movies all year round, but it's the season where Christmas movies are popping up on all the streaming platforms and on social media clips.  It's time for the Ho! Ho! Ho!

As you might already know, Tascosa Drive-In has new ownership and they have been doing new things to bring happiness and joy to our community.  This weekend they are bringing in the Christmas Spirit with a Christmas movie marathon.

Tascosa Drive-In Christmas Movie Marathon

The marathon will begin at 6 pm (gates open at 5 pm) with the first movie starting at 6:30 pm.

Movie #1 - The Polar Express - Rate G

Movie #2 - Elf - Rated PG

Movie #3 - Red One - Rated PG-13- This new theatrical release stars Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, and J.K. Simmons.

Movie #4 - National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - Rated PG-13

Load the car up and head to Tascosa Drive-In on Saturday, November 23, 2024.  The cost is $31.20 + tax per car for up to 7 people.   If you pay in cash they offer a discount.

Other festive events include:

  • Santa Claus will be making a special stop
  • Cookie Decorating - costs extra
  • Hot Chocolate - costs extra

Please note that outside food and drink are not allowed at the drive-in.  You can purchase a $10 food pass.  The drive-in earns its revenue primarily from concession sales. Movie ticket fees go to the film companies, so they strive to keep concession prices affordable.

Christmas Movies at the drive-in will be one of those fun activities that you can make a family tradition for years to come.  We are lucky to have a drive-in within Amarillo, let's head out and support this local Amarillo business so we can make the Christmas movie marathon at the drive-in a family tradition.
