Julianne Hough Under Fire for Blackface ‘Orange Is the New Black’ Halloween Costume [PHOTOS]

'Dancing With the Stars' pro Julianne Hough is dancing with a whole lot of controversy. The blond bombshell is receiving a whole lot of criticism for her Halloween costume. Hough dressed up as Crazy Eyes from 'Orange Is the New Black' ... complete with blackface, which led to a lot of face palms.

Perhaps mistaking All Hallow's Eve with a minstrel show, the fleet-footed dancer-actress went all in on the bronzer, striking up backlash from fellow stars like actress Martha Plimpton, who took to Twitter to voice her misgivings with the racially insensitive getup.

Hough did issue an apology, writing, "I am a huge fan of the show 'Orange Is the New Black,' actress Uzo Aduba and the character she has created. It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize."
