Katy Perry Teases New Song, Confirms Grammys Performance
UPDATE: Katy Perry teased a clip of her upcoming new song, due out February 10, on social media late Tuesday evening (February 7).
In the teaser clip, a closeup shot reveals the pop star's feet as she walks slowly across a parking lot, dragging a disco ball that's been attached to a chain to her silver stiletto behind her. Towards the end of the brief video, music swells, hinting at an '80s-tinged synth pop sound.

A new era of Katy Perry is nearly upon us!
The pop star is the latest performer to join the Grammy Awards (February 12) lineup alongside Beyonce, Adele, Bruno Mars and others, Billboard confirms.
In addition to the exciting announcement, Perry unveiled a gorgeous new promo image on Monday, February 6, showing off her unexpected bleach blonde look (the typically raven-haired singer-songwriter is actually a natural blonde, believe it or not).
As previously reported (though since removed) by Billboard Monday evening, the pop artist is also believed to be releasing a new single allegedly called "Chained to the Rhythm" on Friday, February 10. The song apparently features Bob Marley's grandson, Skip Marley, whose new single "Lions" Perry promoted over the weekend, Idolator notes.
Unconfirmed info via HitsDailyDouble claims it's produced by Perry's longtime collaborator Max Martin and that Sia co-wrote the track — if that's true, guess Sia's previous claim that she and Katy's "songwriting dynamic doesn't work" together no longer applies?
