Ryan Gosling, actor, musician and newly-minted Golden Globe winner for La La Land, is a lusted-after man. His talent and often self-deprecating natural charisma make him that much more attractive, but so does his beautiful human face. His face (and voice, and body) is his literal fortune. At the time of Gosling's fetal development, before his turns on MCM and The Notebook, a mixture of genetics and biological happenstance conspired to form a set of features that sit in a pleasing symmetry between his ears. In the parlance of an optometrist, biology (or God, whatever) really nailed that "pupillary distance" when it comes to his eyes.

The talented artisans at Madame Tussauds, however, missed it by a hair, and it makes quite a difference.

Don't get me wrong — if I happen to one day find myself in Berlin, Germany with a free afternoon with some extra euros burning a hole in my pocket, I'll proceed directly to Madame Tussauds and pose with the dead-eyed, shiny-armed wax Gosling as if he's my boyfriend, just like German Die Bachelorette alum Anna Hofbauer did at the statue's January 23 unveiling. But I'll know something's missing (the real Ryan Gosling, for one, but also the correct distance between his two eyes and their brows).

Either way, it's 1000 times better than this serial killer-y wax rendering of a Justin Timberlake. He watches you when you sleep!
