Make a Plan Before Celebrating This Holiday Season

The holidays bring fun and festivities, and those festivities might include some Holiday Spirits and I don't men the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.

The Texas Department of Transportation wants to remind you to plan ahead if you plan on partaking in alcoholic beverages during your holiday season.

Last year during the holiday season in Texas, 2,321 DUI related traffic crashed occurred.  82 people died and 199 people were injured.  During the New Year's holiday over 4,000 crashes happened that included 44 deaths and 171 injuries.

It's not worth taking a life or losing a life, be smart and plan ahead if you are planning on drinking during your holiday festivities.
