Do you wanna build a snowman... again? Disney sure hopes so, as they announced in a new today that their mega-successful Frozen would gain a sort of mini-sequel in an upcoming short to be bundled with Coco. But “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” is no ordinary lead-in to the main event; it sounds like quite a bit has gone into the short that Disney repeatedly refers to as a “featurette,” running at 21 minutes and including four new songs, as well as returning cast members Josh Gad, Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, and Jonathan Groff. Parents, batten down the hatches, for a new ‘Let It Go’ is close at hand.

“Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” follows the fan-favorite animated snowman as he sets out on a holiday-themed mission along with lovable reindeer Sven. The holiday season has arrived at the kingdom of Arendelle for the first time since sisters Anna and Elsa reunited, and the girls realize that they haven’t had the chance to form any family traditions. So it falls to Olaf and Sven to survey the countryside for the very best holiday fun that they can bring back to their friends, saving the day and ensuring good tidings for all.

This is the second Frozen short after 2015’s “Frozen Fever,” which played in front of Disney’s live-action remake of Cinderella. “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” premieres in theaters with Coco on November 22. And, yes, a Frozen 2 is still on the looming horizon as well.
