In this year's bizarre battle of the White House-set invasion action movies, 'Olympus Has Fallen' was the surprise box office champion, handily outgrossing the far glossier 'White House Down.' And you know what that means: it's time for 'Olympus Has Fallen 2.' But where do you go when your first film already destroyed the home of the President of the United States? You go wreck London, of course!

According to Screen Daily, 'London Has Fallen' is said to reunite the 'Olympus Has Fallen' cast in England, where Gerard Butler's badass Secret Service agent and Aaron Eckhart's noble President will find themselves in the middle of a terrorist plot while attending the funeral of the Prime Minister. The report also states that Angela Bassett, Morgan Freeman and Radha Mitchell will return, so they can once again gawk at how good Butler is at killing people. There is a new role for an English MI6 agent, but we still don't know if he'll be Butler's English counterpart (aka, "really good at murder") or just his goofy foil (because 'murica).

Despite the returning cast members, original director Antoine Fuqua isn't mentioned at all, suggesting that he won't be back and that a new director will be needed. If the producers really know what they're doing, they'll hire the craziest, most maniacal direct-to-DVD action director that they can find and just let him run wild. The only way to top 'Olympus Has Fallen' will be to get even cheesier and trashier and they should just embrace it.

'Olympus Has Fallen 2,' 'London Has Fallen,' will begin filming on May 5, 2014. Focus Features will distribute the sequel in the US for a presumed spring of 2015 release.
