The lineup for San Francisco's Outside Lands music festival has been announced, and it features some serious firepower including Radiohead, LCD SoundsystemRyan Adams and a bunch more. One of the headliners, however, might be somewhat unexpected among a lineup filled with acts like Sufjan Stevens, Grimes and Jason Isbell: '80s soft rock legend Lionel Richie.

The Muppets' Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem will also play their first live festival and they helped announce this year's lineup (Aug. 5 to 7 at Golden Gate Park) in the video above. Animal seems particularly excited about sharing a stage with Radiohead, who headlined the first Outside Lands in 2008 and made history as the first band to play in Golden Gate Park after dark.

Other performers for this year's Outside Lands include Beach House, Brandi Carlile, Miike Snow, Duran Duran, Air, Peaches, J. Cole, the Claypool Lennon Delirium (Les Claypool of Primus and Sean Lennon) and Big Grams (Phantogram and Outkast's Big Boi). Check out the full lineup here.

And Outside Lands is also billed as "America's only gourmet music festival," so be sure to bring your appetite along for the upscale culinary options.

Tickets go on sale April 7 and you can get more information here.
