Experience Life In Nature As Camp Host At Palo Duro Canyon
They say that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. That's easier said than done. I love taking naps on my couch, but I doubt it pays well. If you love the outdoors and you're near Amarillo, Texas, there may be an opportunity that's perfect for you.
If You Love Camping, A Dream Opportunity Could Be Yours In The Texas Panhandle
One of my favorite places to spend time in the Texas panhandle is Palo Duro Canyon. It's the second biggest canyon in the US, and it is absolutely gorgeous. When the weather is right, it's my home away from home.

Palo Duro Canyon State Park is currently looking for camp hosts. The camp host job is perfect for someone who loves camping enough to do it full-time. You'll live in the park and assist people visiting the park and campground maintenance.
For me, it sounds like a dream opportunity. If you love the great outdoors, it could be your dream opportunity, too.
What Is It Like To Be A Camp Host In Texas
There are some things you need to know before applying to be a camp host at Palo Duro Canyon. First, it's mainly a volunteer position. In exchange for the "volunteer service hours," you'll be given an RV space where you can live for the duration of your stay.

The length of your stay can vary between one month and a max of six months. If it sounds like something you'd be interested in, you can get more info at the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department website.
