I guess I must be living under a rock, because I didn't realize that Pampa had this gem in the Texas Panhandle.  The Pampa H20 Aquatic Center.

I kept hearing people talk about it but I didn't realize what they were talking about.  I was talking to a friend the other day and they said they were going to Pampa.  I asked why would they take the kids to Pampa (they didn't have family there and as far as I knew it is just Pampa.)  However, that is when I learned they had a pretty snazzy water park.

I don't know if you would call it a water park.  I guess that's why they call it an aquatic center, but from the pictures and what I have heard about it, it looks like it could give a certain water park a run for their money.
