There's been a lot of drama surrounding Tascosa Drive-In recently. There was the needed repairs, news that this might be the last season, and the insane cost for the repairs.

Well, there's some good news. Tascosa Drive-In is up and running. There are also some changes for the summer.

Tascosa Drive-In Has New Summer Hours

Tascosa Drive-In recently announced online that they were making some changes to their summer hours. You get six nights at the drive-in this summer, and they all kick off at 8 PM. The only exception is Thursday nights.

That's the only night they'll be closed during the week.

Two Nights To Pay By The Carload

Digging through old posts from Tascosa Drive-In, I was able to find a variety of discount nights, but I didn't see anything that suggested two carload nights a week being the norm.

Until now. Now, you get Sundays and Tuesdays.

Be sure you have your bumper sticker to get the deal.

As The Saying Goes, The Drive-In Will Never Die

At least, that's the hope. There was a time recently when it seemed like the drive-in was doomed. A GoFundMe was established simply titled, "Save Tascosa Drive In From Going Dark."

It didn't bode well for the last remaining drive-in in Amarillo.

For now though, at least for this season, we get to enjoy Tascosa Drive-In. We still get to experience that special magic that drive-in theaters have always had.
