Quick Trip to Mexico? The Fastest Route from Amarillo
If you're planning on jumping in the car and heading to Mexico, just to say you've been, well it isn't as far away as you might think.

Stop at Jackson Brothers Meat and pick up some of their beef jerky. It's pricey but it is the best beef jerky that I have ever had. It's so good.
I love stopping at the Stripes just coming into town for a bathroom break and picking up some churros. While you are there visit their historic downtown.

Check out Fort Concho. Fort Concho is a historical landmark and was an installation founded in 1867 it was a US Army Installation, but in place to help protect the frontier settlers.
Caverns of Sonora is a cool place to visit. These caves are internationally known as the most beautiful caves in the world. Set up a tour to travel 155 ft below the ground to enjoy the sights.
