Amarillo Community Market, 8:30AM - 12PM

The community market is back for 2023. You can start the day off by visiting this iconic summertime activity on Polk Street. It starts at 8:30AM and goes until noon.

If you've ever been, you know what to expect. There's a wide variety of vendors with everything from baked goods to bath bombs, and of course there is going to be live music.

Summer Free For All, 5PM

The Summer Free For All will happen at Sam Houston Park at 5PM. It's hosted by Amarillo Parks and Rec.

This will work alongside the big event planned on 6th. A trolley will be running back and forth between the two events so you don't have to miss anything.

The Free For All has carnival games, food, music...and it's free. Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday evening with the family.

ANB's Route 66 Celebration, 11AM - 7PM

This is an all day event that will take place on 6th in the historic Route 66 district. Plan for lots of vendors, food, live music, Elvis impersonators, a pinup pageant, activities for the kids, a car show, and whatever else they can squeeze into the day.

There's even a corn dog eating contest.

This weekend is stacked with things to do. The best part is that it's all stuff the whole family can enjoy. Fingers crossed the weather holds out, and we all get to enjoy the last day of the Route 66 celebration for 2023.
