Sod Poodles Release Packed Schedule For 2025 Season In Amarillo

Earlier today (7/30), the Amarillo Sod Poodles officially released their schedule for the upcoming 2025 season. It's going to be a very busy year at Hodgetown in downtown Amarillo. It all kicks off on April 8, 2025.

Sod Poodles Looking Ahead To A Stacked 2025 Schedule

On April 8, 2025, ball will be back at Hodgetown as the Sod Poodles take on the Springfield Cardinals. The Cardinals are the double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. This season, all of the Texas League South Division teams will make a trip to Hodgetown as well as all five of the North Division teams.

One of the biggest pieces of news from the announcement is that this year the Sod Poodles will be at home for Father's Day, Mother's Day, and for July 4th. I know there were plenty of fans who were upset they didn't get all of the big days at the ballpark this last year.

Start Planning For 2025 At Hodgetown Now

No announcement has been made yet regarding start times or promotional nights, though I imagine there is plenty planned for the 2025 season. If there's one thing Hodgetown is great at, it's having plenty going on to keep the whole family entertained.

Interesting side note; the final series of the 2025 season will be played September 9-14 against the Midland RockHounds. The RockHounds will play nine games in downtown Amarillo.
