Next time you're on a road trip in Texas. Pay attention driving through these counties because most likely another driver does not have their eyes on the road.

Distracted driving is a growing epidemic and it costs the lives of may each year.  Starting today, and this is no joke, the Texas Department of Transportation kicks off the Talk, Text, Crash campaign.  They will be focusing this month on educating drivers about the safety of driving and the dangers of texting while driving.

Distracted driving is a danger that is front and center in this commercial that will have people talking.

I realize that the cell phone ban is still a huge hot topic in Amarillo.  I see people every day breaking the new law.  I am guessing those people oppose the law.  As for my point of view, I understand the no texting while driving, and I also understand the only way to enforce that was a total cell phone ban.  However, there is something that is more distracting while driving.
