Duran Duran

MTV signed on, on this day in 1981 with The Buggles "Video Killed The Radio Star." While all of my friends thought that was hilarious, I didn't laugh much. I'm laughing now, because MTV has pretty much stopped playing music, and I still am.

After the departure of two members, Duran Duran moved in a new direction on 'Notorious.'

Late Saturday night I stumbled upon a channel that was running back-to-back concerts from the 80's. Bands like The Cure, R.E.M & U2, but it was a group that was part of the MTV generation that made me stop and watch.
