Unless he's caught in a trap and can't walk out, it looks like 'The Great Gatsby' director Baz Luhrmann will be directing a film about the life of Elvis Presley, though it's unknown how much of the king of Rock and Roll's life the film will cover.

Today kicks off Amarillo's Largest Garage Sale in the North Exhibit Hall at the Amarillo Civic Center. I've said this a number of times, but I love coming here. It's like a reunion. I get to hang with some of the great vendors that are here from year-to-year, meet new friends and just have a great day.

Now why would I remember the death of the King?  How is it I know when Elvis died.  It isn't because of everything on the internet.  It is because it is part of the story of when I was born.
