It’s a brave new world for the 2017 Emmy awards with Game of Thrones and others sitting this year out. The big announcement is finally here, as presented by Veep star Anna Chlumsky and Criminal Minds veteran Shemar Moore, so let’s find out what we’re all angry about/celebrating this year at the Emmys!

Fargo only started filming Season 3 in January, though it seemed at least odd of the Minnesota murder-drama to announce an April premiere with nary a photo or footage to follow. Thankfully, Santa’s here to make a late drop-off of the first Season 3 teaser, and he might regret it.

It could be some time yet before FX’s Fargo digs any Season 3 footage out of the snow, but darn it all if this cast doesn’t feel like a spring breeze. The latest uncannily apt name to practice their “Minnesota Nice” is comedian Jim Gaffigan, setting a strong role opposite Carrie Coon with the Fargo police.

At one point during this interview, Jeff Bridges leaned back in his chair, laughed, then broke into an impression of Jeffrey Lebowski, his character from 'The Big Lebowski' who is also famously known as The Dude. It was at this moment that I decided that the trip from New York City to San Diego for Comic-Con was worth it.
