The best way to soothe fans of a property is get the original creator(s) involved (see also: Lawrence Kasdan, 'Star Wars: Episode 7'), so the Dimension films have done a smart thing by hiring original writer/director/horror legend Clive Barker to pen the remake of 'Hellraiser,' and Barker says that he'll be bringing back Doug Bradley to play the film's iconic character Pinhead.

In Hollywood, often people fail upwards, as there no other reason why Universal would hire Len Wiseman to helm their 'Mummy' Reboot (or re-reboot, if the 1930's and 40's versions count). But the man behind the 'Total Recall' remake is very close to being chosen to direct the film.

It was only a matter of time before ‘Little Shop of Horrors‘ was called to action for a remake, but thank your lucky stars that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is involved in Warner Bros.’ plans.

I shouldn't be shocked that once again Hollywood is taking a great classic and rebooting it for today's generation.  NBC has been toying around with the idea of creating a new Munster's series.

‘The Cannonball Run,’ the camp-tastic 1981 road race flick starring everyone from Burt Reynolds to Terry Bradshaw, looks like it is going to be getting a remake. Because, well, of course it is.

Hollywood just keeps going and going and going with their recycled ideas.  I literally want to bash my head against the wall about the latest idea they are looking into and that is turning The Blues Brothers into a TV Show.
