When director Zack Snyder unveiled our first look at Ben Affleck all suited up as Batman (with his trusty Batmobile by his side) in his upcoming turn in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' the photo in question sent the internet into a whirl of excitement. Unfortunately, the same can't really be said of Henry Cavill's reveal, primarily because it's not even of him as Superman, but rather his journalistic alter-ego, Clark Kent.

It's difficult to defend 'Superman Returns' without bringing up Zack Snyder's abomination, 'Man of Steel' ... so we won't try.

After a few years of cool, iconic titles like 'The Dark Knight' and 'Man of Steel,' it looks like the upcoming Batman and Superman crossover film is going to be a bit more blunt. Although an official title wasn't revealed at the Warner Bros. Hall H presentation at Comic-Con 2013, screenwriter David S. Goyer was a little more candid at a panel celebrating the 75th anniversary of Superman.

That was quick. Just as people were getting suspicious that 'Man of Steel' star Henry Cavill and 'Big Bang Theory' actress Kaley Cuoco were a PR relationship (the pair share a publicist and are both tied to Warner Bros.), the pair have split.

Warner Bros. unleashed the final 'Man of Steel' trailer through an exclusive deal with Nokia, and this trailer is definitely much more action-packed than previous ones -- which is saying something.
