Summer's here, the temperature's going straight up and area pools could be filling up with more than just swimmers.

Summer is here and that means swimming!  Amarillo Parks and Recreation is making sure that everyone has a good time so they are inviting you out to celebrate with Sammy the Seal.

I have no idea what a dog thinks, nor a whole lot about what makes a dog happy.  I know they love being loved on, played with, fetch, a good belly rub, and they love when their owners are around.  However, they also apparently love water.  Check out this video of the doggie pool.

For the first time in history, a swimmer has endured the 103-mile route from Havana, Cuba to Key West, Florida, without the assistance of a shark cage. That swimmer, 64-year-old Diana Nyad, began her quest on Saturday, August 31, and finished around 53 hours later on Labor Day.

Wow. Just wow. That's what you'll be saying after watching this ridonkulous multi-person, multi-pass alley-oop. This little stunt involves more precision than a Seiko and surely must have been rehearsed so many times, these guys must have had skin shriveled up like a raisin...
